Just Like the Good Old Days

Ask your parents.  Labor Day Weekend was the traditional end of summer.  We never went to school before Labor Day.

Well, what with the hurricane and everything, you may be wondering about due dates.  Especially those of you procrastinators who still have no power.  You may write out your essays longhand.  Or take your laptop and schlep to a  Starbuck's somewhere.  Remember, "there are no problems, only solutions waiting to be found."  (The same goes for showers.)

So here's what we'll do.  The blog closes at 12:01 A.M. on September 6th, the day school re-opens.  That's the minute the clock flips over to begin that day, not the end of the first day of school.

For the essay, I will give you a day to forget.  Drop-dead due date for the essays will be 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 7th.  Bring them to my room (209), or email them to me (jmacarthur@tolland.k12.ct.us).  Keep a copy on file, just in case.

Have and nice weekend, and -- find a shower!  See you Tuesday.
